Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
• Sending QC inspection requests through Mariner.
• To collect weld layer monitoring sheets from Foreman and maintain records
• Update weld traceability details in Mariner as received from site Foreman.
• Typing of various reports that are required by the Department Manager.
• Filling latest weld traceability drawings as assigned.
• Maintain records of QC inspection requests received from site.
• Maintain welders records, Welders fitness records and repair records.
• Maintain Welder / Plater qualification records.
• Prepare mark-up drawings, joints list regarding Visual and NDT pending drawings.
• Prepare NDT statistics and QC inspection passing rate.
Experience / Qualification & Skills:
High School
. Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum 5 years clerical experience and working knowledge in weld traceability tasks in New Building Shipyard or Offshore projects. Able to handle clerical jobs for different sections in the Dept as directed by Supervisor or Dept. Managers.
