Monitoring all site construction and inspection work when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or the Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE)
Directly coordinating with the contractors regarding project activities such as the construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and client’s requirements
Reviewing operational process and installations to ensure that the subcontractors comply with the design, standards and specifications of the contract documents
Ensuring the subcontractors comply with operational and safety standards
Assisting to identify, respond to or evaluate field construction technical issues to maintain the schedule
Verifying field measurements
Providing documentation relating to changes in contract work
Reviewing and supervising subcontractor daily and weekly inspection reports
Assisting in compiling Bill of Quantity (BoQ) reports for monthly pay estimates
Participating in weekly design review meetings with Civil Engineering team
PROFILE:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related subject
Minimum 5 years of experience
Must have experience in inspecting civil works, monitoring site progress and reporting to site engineers.
Preferably with Project experience within Railway environments
