Job Overview:
As a Civil Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the solar construction process on-site. You will be the main point of contact for the project team and will ensure that all work is completed according to the project plans, budget, and schedule. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of construction techniques, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Ensure that all work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards Monitor and enforce safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks Communicate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and address any issues or concerns Order and maintain inventory of materials and equipment needed for the project Prepare and submit progress reports, daily logs, and other documentation as required Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any potential issues or delays Collaborate with the project team to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Maintain a positive and professional relationship with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
Qualifications:
Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry* Strong knowledge of construction techniques and processes
