Design Review: Evaluate and approve engineering designs, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and project requirements.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns related to the project.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Site Supervision: Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, resolve issues, and ensure work aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial reports, and project performance metrics.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, with at least 5 years in a project management role in the UAE.
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and structural engineering principles.
Project Management Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and tools. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges efficiently.
