To provide technical support within the discipline team, liaise with the project team to analyze, plan, and design projects, and oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
1.Provide technical advice to the Project Manager, Head of Unit, and Head of Section on project updates, highlighting areas of concern and proposed corrective actions.
2.Develop designs, prepare feasibility assessments, provide estimates, and prepare and implement project plans.
3.Monitor site activities and establish and maintain relevant records to ensure the project’s quality requirements are properly met.
4.Regularly visit the project site to ensure the work complies with contract requirements, including using approved materials, conforming with the shop drawings, and reporting any project deviation.
5.Assessing potential risks, materials, and costs involved in a project.
6.Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and regulatory compliance.
7.Attend weekly progress and technical meetings with the project’s stakeholders.
8.Review weekly and monthly Reports provided by consultants and contractors.
9.Coordinate with all supporting team members (Electrical, Mechanical, IT, etc.) as needed to progress the project.
10.Participate in project meetings and committees to discuss and resolve potential problems.
11.Monitor the quality of works based on the approved specifications, drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
12.Follow up on on-site instructions and non-conformance reports issued by the consultant to the contractor, highlighting any concerns related to project delays.
13.Any other assignments related to the nature of the job assigned by the management.
