Job Overview:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Civil Engineer at Global Village. In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

• To comply with Global Village Vision & Mission

• To integrate work ethic to reflect Global Village Values

• Ensure compliance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements.

• Ensure all civil related tasks are carried out timely & effectively to ensure on the facilities up-keep and enhance the guest experience.

• Manage and Monitor contractors and suppliers to ensure that all civil and carpentry works and activities and other related aspects are carried out in a professional manner enhancing the guest experience and occupants comfort.

• All necessary inspection schedules & checklists as rolled out for each year and to be followed up through designated service provider to enhance facility life cycle and occupant’s comfort. .

• Conduct scheduled and random site visits/inspections for the verification on the quality/ standard of work executed.

• Support in Off-season comprehensive maintenance planning for all facilities including Restaurants, Retails, kiosks, other built-in facilities, porta-cabins and common areas which include snagging , scope preparation, technical evaluation and execution

• Support in Project take overs by reviewing the handover files pertaining to civil and preparing the snag , documents review of submitted files and coordinating with projects and contractor for DLP management and snag completion related to civil works.

• Conduct site visits for inspection and verification of the quality of work, assess the impact and risks connected to structural and theming elements and prepare detailed report on the risk factors and the risk mitigation or recommend for consultancy as applicable.

• Managing all civil works logged in Operation Call center and verifying the compliance by service providers.

• In addition supporting the FM team with any FM related jobs as and when required.

• Visual Inspection as per the schedule for all the facades and structures to ensure that there are no visible damages.

• Field support in preparation of RFP scopes related to civil, fit out and refurbishment works for effective sourcing in line with site requirements and complete the necessary technical evaluation for awarding.
