CIVIL 3D MODELER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
A Civil 3D Modeler plays a crucial role in developing, managing, and optimizing 3D models for civil engineering projects, including roads, infrastructure, grading, utilities, earthworks, and land development. Their primary objective is to support engineers and designers by creating accurate and data-driven models that enhance project visualization, coordination, and efficiency.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain 3D models and drawings for roads, infrastructure, grading, utilities, earthworks, and site development using Civil 3D.
• Prepare corridor modeling, terrain modeling, pipe networks, and alignments in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with civil engineers, designers, and other disciplines to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
• Perform clash detection and design coordination using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Generate quantity take-offs, profiles, cross-sections, and construction documentation from Civil 3D models.
• Ensure compliance with UAE municipal regulations, engineering standards, and BIM protocols.
• Assist in updating and revising models as per project changes and consultant/authority feedback.
• Work efficiently within BIM collaboration environments, ensuring proper model management and file organization.
  

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil 3D BIM Modeler in the GCC, especially in the UAE.
• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D for civil infrastructure and land development projects.
• Strong knowledge of road design, grading, utilities, and site development.
• Experience in clash detection, coordination, and BIM workflows.
• Familiarity with UAE standards and local authority requirements.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
