What you will do

• Design and prepare visually stunning and delicious cakes, pastries, and desserts using various techniques, such as icing, fondant, sugar work, and piping.

  
  

• Collaborate with the Executive Pastry Chef and other team members to develop innovative dessert concepts and menus.

  
  

• Ensure all products are made to the highest quality standards, adhering to established recipes and plating guidelines.

  
  

• Maintain proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards within the pastry kitchen.

  
  

• Supervise and train junior pastry team members to foster a positive and efficient work environment.

  
  

• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage waste to minimize food costs and achieve budget goals.

  
  

• Stay updated on current industry trends, techniques, and ingredients to maintain competitive offerings and guest satisfaction.

What you will bring

• ​ Diploma or certificate in pastry arts, cake design, or a related field.

  
  

• Minimum 3-5 years of pastry and cake decorating experience in luxury hotels, fine-dining restaurants, or specialized bakeries.

  
  

• 3. Strong artistic and creative skills with a passion for innovation and attention to detail.

  
  

• Proficient in various cake decorating techniques, including icing, fondant, gum paste, and chocolate work.

  
  

• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  
  

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the culinary team. Proficiency in English is must.
