Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxurious beachside resort located on the West Crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah in Dubai. About the Job


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef De Partie for Cold Kitchen to join the Culinary team at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:


  • Responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes according to menu guidelines and recipes, ensuring each dish is properly garnished, presented, and served with the highest quality standards.
  • Actively managing your section, you will delegate tasks to junior kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods and maintaining quality standards in the absence of senior chefs.
  • Assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef in developing new menu ideas, ensuring that all menus are seasonal, creative, and made with the finest ingredients.
  • Ensure that all mise-en-place is always freshly prepared and on time, contributing to the efficiency of kitchen operations.
  • Support the training and development of junior chefs, trainees, and staff, ensuring they receive optimal guidance and have an active training plan in place.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in your kitchen section, ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene standards, and proper equipment usage, in line with HACCP and Jumeirah standards.

About You


The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:


  • A College Degree in Culinary Arts or a similar qualification from an accredited culinary school.
  • Expertise in food quality, presentation, and multi-cuisine kitchen management, including show cooking, with a deep knowledge of both classical and international culinary trends.
  • Strong understanding of hygiene, health, and safety practices, ensuring adherence to the highest standards in the kitchen.
  • Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity, with the ability to work effectively in diverse environments and lead a team.
  • Proficiency in English (Read/Write/Speak) along with a strong customer service orientation, ensuring communication and service excellence.
