The vision for the King Salman International Airport (KSIA) in Riyadh is truly a first of a kind sustainable airport and airport city development. The expansion anticipates accommodating up to 120 million passengers annually through 2030, quadrupling the current capacity of 30 million. The airport is expected to become one of the world’s busiest international hubs, accommodating 185 million passengers and up to 3.5 million tons of cargo annually by 2050. The airport and airport city development are looking to set a global benchmark for aviation experience.
With sustainability at its core, the new airport will achieve LEED Platinum certification by incorporating cutting edge green initiatives into its design and will be powered by renewable energy.
We are seeking a Change Lead to join our Commercial & Controls team on the project to be based in our Dubai office. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and maintenance of the change management on the project.
In this role, you will report to the Senior Commercial Manager (KSIA Contracts).
Responsibilities:
Coordination of the end-to-end change management process of each individual contract (managed by each individual project commercial team), ensuring that the Change Management Process is correctly and consistently implemented across the entire project. Ensure that changes and issues are identified and recorded so that the full impact of the change is recognised, evaluated and issued for approval by the internal Change Committee. Coordination between the various disciplines to ensure an accurate level of detail has been provided to be able to finalise the Change Request proposals. Validation of Sub-Consultants proposals / level of effort utilised in the Change Request proposals. Setup and administer internal governance reviews with the leadership team associated with that Change Request. Once issued, you will ensure that the approval, rejection, or other actions are recorded and distributed to the relevant contracts/projects within the project for implementation. In cases where changes have multiple contract/project implication compile data from across the project. Compile, update and manage change management logs and reports. Provide support to project commercial staff as required. Consider improved methods of managing change and programme KPIs. Present monthly reports to the project leadership. Interrogate Change Management Data at Contract and project levels.
BS degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience Professional experience with similar field preferred. Discipline specific professional registration preferred (PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS) Experience in a similar field. Commercial background. Outstanding organisational skills. Excellent presentation skills.
