We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize supply chain operations in Dubai and across the Eastern Hemisphere for Canrig. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of procurement, inventory management, and international logistics, and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of goods throughout our supply chain network.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure compliance with all international trade regulations, including import/export documentation and customs requirements. The ideal candidate will possess: (1) supply chain management experience, (2) the leadership and strategic skills to develop a coherent vision and plan for the function, (3) the operational skills to meet expectations of business operations, and (4) the interpersonal skills to work effectively across all departments and regions. • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on procurement, inventory management, and international logistics. • Proven experience managing supply chain operations in MENA, with a deep understanding of the regional challenges and opportunities. • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships. • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions. • Knowledge of global trade regulations, customs processes, and international shipping practices. • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities · Experience in manufacturing environment with large volume of parts movement · Experience in drilling and/or oil and gas industry preferred. · Excellent interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external personnel. · Organizational skills. · Highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work independently. · Ability to work under frequent high-pressure with changing priorities and critical deadlines. · Detail-oriented and an excellent communicator with strong leadership skills. Responsible for coordinating project communications and deliverables, planning, and execution. · Experience in drilling and/or oil and gas preferred. · Ability to influence across business and departmental lines, especially at the senior level. · Strong analytical and problem solving skills. · Familiarity with world-class sourcing methods and tools. · Strong written, organizational, project management and time management skills. · Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work independently, multi-task and exercise good judgment to move business forward.
