We are seeking proactive and detail-oriented Business Process Interns to support the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Sharaf DG Finance. This role is purely financial, requiring interns to engage with different finance task owners to gain a thorough understanding of finance activities. Interns will document each task systematically into structured processes, ensuring logical sequencing and clarity. They must proactively query task owners until a full and precise understanding of each process is achieved before finalizing documentation.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities:
Ensure that the documented finance SOPs meet quality standards, are comprehensive, and are easily understandable for reference.
Accurately document SOPs by collaborating with Task Owners and any cross-functional department stakeholders based on defined role
Structure financial processes in a logical sequence, ensuring clarity and ease of reference.
Meet deadlines for reviewing, understanding, and documenting finance SOPs in alignment with the project timeline.
Identify and resolve any ambiguities by seeking clarifications from relevant stakeholders.
Provide regular updates on progress, challenges, and solutions to the project manager or relevant stakeholders.
Educational Qualification Pursuing or having recently completed an MBA in Finance or Accounting is preferred. Specializations in Financial Operations, will be an added advantage
Professional Certifications Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), MS Visio, or any workflow tool
Skills & Abilities • Knowledge of finance process and financial analysis is an advantage.
• Exceptional proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must.
• Ability to translate complex finance processes into easily understandable SOPs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand, evaluate, and document complex financial processes and procedures.
