Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Operations Specialist with a strong background in Finance within the
cybersecurity industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing company's operations with an eye on
financial impact, managing operational relationships with vendors, distributors and customers, ensuring corporate
renewals and compliances, track projects in progress, control receivables & payables along with ensuring office
administration, banking relationships and managing legal and visa processing functions. This role requires a blend of
operational expertise, financial knowledge, and an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the
cybersecurity sector. Key Responsibilities:
Operational Relationship with Vendors | Distributors | Customers
Addressing operational concerns
Tracking deliverables
Corporate Renewals & Registrations
Identify all necessary renewals and registrations required by law in the jurisdictions where the company
operates. This includes business licenses, permits, trademarks, patents, and domain registrations.
Develop a comprehensive compliance calendar listing all renewal and registration deadlines to ensure no
critical dates are missed.
Tracking of Projects
Coordinating with Service Delivery Manager and projects team to ensure projects are billed on time
Control the projects timeline by reporting escalations in timey manner
Control Receivables & Payables
Credit Policies
Invoicing:
Monitoring Receivables:
Aging Reports: Regularly generate aging reports to monitor overdue accounts and identify delinquent
customers.
Follow-Up: Implement a systematic follow-up process for overdue invoices, including reminder emails, phone
alls, and collection letters.
Collections
Office Administration
Legal and Visa Processing:
Oversee legal aspects related to financial operations, including compliance with cybersecurity regulations and contractual agreements.
Manage visa processing for international employees, ensuring timely and accurate submission of visa applications and renewals.
Collaborate with legal counsel to address legal issues and mitigate risks associated with financial and operational activities.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across finance, operations, and legal teams. Interdepartmental Coordination
Manage communications within departments by having the policies and processes in place and
running effectively Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Operations, with at least 3-5 years in a senior Operations role.
Proven experience in operations within the cybersecurity industry.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, trends, and regulatory environment.
Experience in managing legal and visa processing functions.
