Business Finance Manager - Commercial Passenger Operations

As Business Finance Manager – Commercial Passenger Operations, you will lead the assigned FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) function providing Strategic Business Finance Partnering to Emirates Passenger Commercial Businesses across its Global network influencing to drive top line growth and yet optimise Cost of Sale. Airline experience and understanding all aspects of Channels, Distribution, Pricing, Competitive landscape, Station regulations to ensure compliance, Repatriation, FX and be the key Finance touch point for various Commercial Projects that are undertaken from time to time.  The essence of this role is to work across multiple stakeholders and positively impacting Shareholder returns whilst excelling partnering and customer experience.

In this role, you will:

• Act as a trusted advisor and Business Partner providing support and challenge to senior management team across Passenger Commercial to help manage the value of their organisation.  
• Managing the process to set annual budgets, full year forecasts, mid to long-term plans and target setting across Passenger Commercial including Global Sales. 
• Provide advice and consultancy in the development and validation of business cases to support the proposal to invest in new ventures, capital expenditure and large / long-term commercial agreements.
• Ensure business performance is monitored on a periodic basis through relevant reports, KPI’s and meetings (e.g. MFR/MBR’s), including the identification and delegation of actions across the business to improve future business performance.
• Ensure that an appropriate financial control environment exists in the business to protect the shareholders interest.
• Ensure the Corporate Governance Manuals are followed across the entities.
• Lead the development of the finance teams within the defined business portfolio to ensure a high performing Finance team.
