Business Development Manager - (Emiratisation Initiative seeking Emirati talent in the UAE)
Our client, a Global MNC (Industrial Automation industry) is looking to hire a Business Development Manager – (Emiratisation Initiative seeking Emirati talent in the UAE). 
We are currently working with a global market leader in the manufacture & sales of Motion product lines, their cutting edge technologies include high-efficiency motors (low, medium, and high voltage) and precision control drives (AC, DC, and servo) designed for various industrial applications. They also provide motion control solutions like PLCs and machine safety systems, digital services for real-time monitoring and predictive maintenance. These products enhance energy efficiency, productivity, and reliability across a wide range of industries.
As part of their Emiratization Initiative we are seeking an Emirati Business Development Manager for their Motion product division. To be successful you will need to be a sales professional with a background in Engineering Sales / Business Development. You will possess a background in electrical / automation / controls with a proven track record of sales in any of the following industries: Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water, Wastewater, Utilities, Energy or Power sector. We can also consider candidates with a similar background in the manufacturing sector.

Role Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible to identify and develop new business opportunities within UAE.
  • Identify business partnership opportunities with companies in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Water, Utilities, Energy and Power sector and non-traditional markets within UAE (incl. hydrogen, carbon capture, etc.)
  • Assessing the market to continuously generate new business opportunities across the assigned markets, accounts and through different channels.
  • Building strong relationship and connection with key decision makers, communicating broad portfolio of products, systems, and services to Endusers /Consultants.
  • Pursuing large scale projects in all major segments and involve internal sales / support teams as needed to support the engagement / proposal submission.
  • Build strong working relationships with client stakeholder of various levels in the client organization (plant and corporate level), up to C-suite.
  • Proactively developing, and presenting business plans utilizing a clear understanding and concise picture of markets and competitive environments in relevant industries / markets.
  • Creating new, fact-based impactful strategic insights and supports the Sales team in data gathering and analyses (from market assessment to business planning).
  • Collate market intel and analysis of information and data to develop or evaluate potential growth opportunities: financial modelling (e.g. cost or profitability) and competitive analyses (product, business, financial performance, market positioning etc.)
  • Formulates Motion sales growth strategies and coordinate/lead implementation of growth actions with all stakeholders.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and business development
  • Experience across different industries and markets.
  • Good negotiation skills and Project management.
  • Willingness to travel upto 40% of the time.
  • Strong UAE / GCC market experience in motion control / PLC sectors.
  • Previous complex selling experience, and Digital experience preferred.
