Job Description:



DSI is now looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to support new opportunities across the full spectrum of its integrated service lines, predominately for the Global Commercial Team, but also in connection with MKTG and Dentsu Sports Analytics.
Reporting to the VP, Commercial Sales (MENA), this position will play an integral role in executing the business development strategy across the region, by identifying and supporting on new and current opportunities, as well as and bolstering commercial opportunities across all of the Dentsu Group (both DSI and the wider Dentsu network).
You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of activities and across a variety of brands and sports, and be part of a growing team with consistent opportunities for development.

Key Responsibilities



Internally, you will support and drive major new pitches, bringing together different parts of the businesses into a cohesive and collaborative group. You will partner with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the new business process, working to establish expectations, provide status updates, hand off project deliverables and field feedback. Liaise regularly with members of the DSI Global Commercial Team, MKTG EMEA and Dentsu Sports Analytics for internal reporting purposes and to assist with sales efforts and networking (including to help consolidate case studies and information sharing activities). Identify potential new business opportunities in the region and assist with relationship development and management. Assist VP, Commercial Sales and the wider DSI Global Commercial Team to research, screen and identify sales lead generation opportunities with a focus on the MENA region. Identify new brands and review brand behaviour within the market to identify new opportunities. Assist with research tasks, lead generation, brand outreach and pitch deck development. Manage in-bound and proactive pitch opportunities (RFP & RFI) and liaise with Dentsu MENA entities in respect of RFP and RFI submissions. Manage sales tracking activities and information sharing for reporting purposes. Assist with administrative tasks, including booking travel and other business-related activities. Manage internal new business resources (case studies, credentials, etc.). Support other regional and cross-border sales opportunities and projects.

Qualifications



About You



We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar sports and entertainment sales or business development support role; this could be agency, brand or rights holder side.
You are equally comfortable using words, imagery and data to tell a story You are creative, strategic and enjoy building presentation decks You enjoy cultivating and building relationships and you have an inherent sales instinct – ideally, being able to spot an opportunity and act on it You are organised and have strong attention to detail when it comes to communications and administration. You have a demonstrable understanding of the MENA market and the global sports marketing industry. Ideally, you will have a proven track record winning new business pitches in an agency environment.
This is a hybrid position, with the office location being in Riyadh, KSA. However, consideration will be given to candidates based in Dubai, UAE (or other areas across MENA) who meet the above requirements.
