Job Description

Business Intelligence and Planning


  • Stay informed about the latest market and industry trends locally and globally and its implications on the company’s growth strategy.
  • Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking of similar companies in our industry
  • Access to IQVIA and Specialization in Data extraction and presentation

Business Development


  • Market Research and Analysis:
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategic business development plans and initiatives.
  • Business Development and Sales:
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients and partners.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
  • Coordinate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all business activities adhere to industry regulations and standards.
  • Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends for senior management.

Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including client interactions, contracts, and agreements.



Qualifications
  • University Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy or a related scientific specialty
  • Post-Graduate in Marketing / Business Administration
  • Post Graduate courses in Project Management

Additional Information

Skills & Professional Requirements


  • Well-established network within the UAE / regional pharmaceutical industry.
  • Business development experience is a Must.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen.
  • Strong Skills with Excel, QlickSense, PowerBI and other analysis tools
  • Experience and Proficiency in the use of CRM
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
