Role Overview
As an Acquisition Specialist at BAS World DMCC, you will be responsible for sourcing and securing suppliers for our platform. You’ll be part of an international team, playing a key role in expanding our network of sellers across Europe. Your main task will be identifying potential sellers, prioritizing them based on potential, and initiating contact to onboard them onto our platform.
Key Responsibilities:
· Qualify and prioritize purchase leads to maximize conversion
· Proactively cold-call potential suppliers to expand our network and secure high-quality stock
· Build and maintain relationships with trustworthy suppliers across Europe
· Collaborate with European colleagues who visit suppliers in person to solidify partnerships
· Negotiate prices, contracts, and delivery terms with suppliers
· Keep detailed records of supplier interactions and agreements
· Identify and qualify new sourcing opportunities to ensure continuous business growth
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience in a commercial role (preferably in sales, supply chain, or procurement)
· Fluency in English and one additional language: German, Spanish, Italian, Polish, or French.
· Strong networking and relationship-building skills
