Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Continuity Analyst to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. The role involves risk assessment, business impact analysis, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure operational resilience during disruptions.


Key Responsibilities:
Business Continuity Planning & Implementation:
Assist in developing and maintaining Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP).
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses (BIA) to identify critical business functions and potential threats.
Work with various departments to define recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
Testing & Training:
Coordinate and execute business continuity drills and simulations to validate preparedness.
Assist in training employees on business continuity procedures and best practices.
Document lessons learned and recommend improvements based on test results.
Monitoring & Compliance:
Ensure business continuity plans comply with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update policies accordingly.
Maintain up-to-date documentation for audits and compliance reviews.
Incident Response & Crisis Management:
Support the incident response team in the event of a business disruption.
Assist in coordinating communication strategies with key stakeholders during crises.
Help track and analyze incidents to improve response effectiveness.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Security, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or a related area.
Knowledge of business continuity frameworks (ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines, NIST, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business continuity planning software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Certification in CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) or equivalent is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in conducting business impact analysis (BIA).
Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
