Role : Business Analyst, Retail Business Finance
Location : Abu Dhabi
Role Purpose:
To Develop and maintain portfolio and product Analysis with Data Management, Portfolio and Performance Management
Key Accountabilities of the role
These are the main responsibilities of this role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1] Produce Quality Business Analytics
Provide insightful Analytics to drive growth
Use Business intelligence for optimum customer segmentation
Develop dashboards for portfolio performance management
2] Effectively Manage Data
Ensure quality of database to drive business decisions [depending on availability of data tools]
Development of portfolio dashboards
Cross Sell Initiatives
3] Produce Periodic Portfolio Decks and Product Cubes.
Assess report requirements
Development of portfolio decks
Develop product cubes with cross-sectional data cuts
Enhance existing templates
4] Controls & Risk
• Prepare regular MIS / Review decks to track/monitor Key Performance Indicators that drive business performance, reporting and analytics across functions. Understand how these metrics and measures align and track against overall business strategies, goals and objectives.
• Regular monitoring of performance vs. plan while identifying areas requiring focus.
• Data management activities related to the collection, storage, access and use, and disposal phases of the information lifecycle
• Excellent knowledge of SQL development, database marketing DB management & analytics, segmentation, life cycle value analysis, data statistics, data mining/analysis, scoring models, targeted prospecting, customer model development
• Prepare portfolio dashboards to aid decision making for all relevant areas of retail.
• Continuously work to enhance the report requirements based on the feedback from all stakeholders, including product and sales teams, and country teams.
• Prepare regular monthly review decks
• Develop product level data cubes with cross-sectional data cuts.
• Enhance data templates based on requirements and feedback.
• Act as a backup contact point for Financials-related legal, regulatory and compliance matters for Retail Banking
• Identify and drive process improvements, without loss of integrity.
• GL monitoring identifying any risks and irregularities in terms of balance movements.
• Ensure that adequate data privacy & information security procedures are followed during generation / transmittal of data for internal /external stakeholders
Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this r
Previous experience required (if any)
Prior experience in a similar function or Finance/Business Planning/ Analytics role preferred.
