Job Description

The Business Analyst being a specialist in Process Mapping Specialist, Technology needs-gathering, and other Business requirements’ gathering, will be responsible for identifying and documenting the technology transformation, automation, and digitization needs across all group subsidiaries. This role involves detailed process mapping, gathering and summarizing technology requirements, and ensuring these requirements are effectively communicated to the technology implementation teams. The position plays a critical role in driving the digital transformation strategy of the company by ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives.


Technology Transformation Needs:


  • Help the IT Transformation team members document the technology transformation needs across all group subsidiaries.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements.
  • Document current state processes and identify opportunities for improvement through technology.

Automation Needs identification:


  • Help in documentation and reporting of the identified opportunities for automation.
  • Gather and document requirements for automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize automation initiatives based on business impact.

Digitization Needs:


  • Help document the identified processes that can be digitized to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Gather and document digitization requirements from various business units.
  • Ensure alignment of digitization initiatives with overall business strategy.

Process Mapping:


  • Create detailed process maps for current and future state processes.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes.
  • Develop process improvement plans and recommendations.

Requirements Gathering:


  • Gather and document technology implementation requirements.
  • Work closely with technology implementation teams to ensure requirements are understood and met.
  • Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement specifications (FRSs).

Stakeholder Management:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, while continuously gathering information for ongoing Process improvements, changes or enhancements.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication of requirements to all stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements review and approval processes.

Corporate processes and policies that would be addressed/impacted by this position:


  • Data Security Policy: Ensuring compliance with data protection and security guidelines.
  • IT Governance Process: Adhering to IT governance frameworks and processes.
  • Change Management Process: Following procedures for managing changes in technology and processes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification or Training in Business Analysis or Project Management (e.g., Prince 2, Agile, Six Sigma or PMP).

Additional Information

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering.
  • Proven experience in technology transformation and automation projects.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing client presentations

Skills & Abilities:


  • Strong understanding of business process improvement methodologies and tools:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Visio or MIRO or Lucidchart or Monday , etc.
    •  ‘Awareness of the overall need and utilization’ of key industry tools and software like Microsoft Power BI, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere), and Coding stacks like .Net/Python/JS/Node/Docker/Vmware.
    • Knowhow of Project Management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Monday, ClickUp etc.)
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
