Business Analyst

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst to join an exciting based onsite in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting IT projects, with a proven track record of effectively analyzing business needs, developing functional requirements, and facilitating the successful delivery of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for IT projects. Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.
• Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of IT projects. Work closely with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure alignment with business objectives and project goals.
• Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Develop reports and dashboards to support decision-making and track project performance.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate existing processes and systems, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Facilitate process mapping and reengineering activities.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear and effective communication. Provide updates on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and project teams.
• Testing and Validation: Develop test plans and test cases to ensure that IT solutions meet business requirements. Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and document test results.
• Training and Support: Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users. Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Business Analyst, with significant experience supporting IT projects.
• Strong understanding of IT project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., UML, BPMN, Agile/Scrum).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project) and database management systems (e.g., SQL) is desirable.
