Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of burn injuries.
• Monitor vital signs and report any signs of infection or complications.
• Perform wound cleaning and dressing changes, ensuring infection control.
• Use specialized techniques for burn wound management.
• Administer and monitor the effectiveness of pain medications.
• Provide comfort measures and educate patients on pain management.
• Educate on wound care, scar management, and home care procedures.
• Advise on nutrition, hydration, and mobility to aid recovery.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to create and follow a treatment plan.
• Participate in case reviews and coordinate patient care.
• Offer emotional support to patients and families.
• Assist in rehabilitation exercises and mobility training.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
• Ensure compliance with hospital documentation policies.
