About the location:
What you will do
Assist the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef in planning and executing banquet menus, focusing on western cuisine and culinary trends.
Supervise and train banquet kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.
Coordinate with the banquet service team to ensure timely food delivery and excellent guest satisfaction during events.
Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste, maintaining an efficient and cost-effective operation.
Collaborate with the sales and events teams to develop customized banquet menus and offerings tailored to client preferences.
What you bring
A culinary degree or diploma, with a strong background in western cuisine and banquet or high-volume all-day dining operations.
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and train a diverse kitchen team.
Creativity and adaptability in designing and executing a variety of banquet menus, incorporating local ingredients and culinary trends.
