Autocad Draftsman-Fitout

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draftsman to join our fit-out team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed 2D drawings for commercial and residential interior fit-out projects, working closely with project managers, interior designers, and site teams. The role involves ensuring the accuracy of construction documents and making adjustments based on site conditions, client feedback, and design changes.

• Drafting and Detailing: Create detailed and precise 2D and 3D drawings, including floor plans, sections, elevations, and layouts for interior fit-out projects using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
  
• Coordination with Design Team: Work closely with designers and project managers to understand project requirements, ensuring the drawings align with design intent.
  
• Site Visits and Measurements: Conduct site visits to take accurate measurements, assess existing conditions, and incorporate them into design plans as needed.
  
• Material Specifications: Work with designers and vendors to incorporate material specifications into the drawings, ensuring compatibility with project requirements and fit-out standards.
  
• Revisions and Updates: Make updates to the drawings based on feedback from clients, project managers, or site conditions, maintaining version control.
  
• Compliance with Standards: Ensure that all drawings meet industry standards, including fit-out and construction codes, safety regulations, and company drafting standards.
  
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design revisions, drawing sets, and as-built documentation for project completion.
  

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, preferably in fit-out or interior design.
  
• Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is a plus.
  
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of fit-out and interior detailing, furniture layouts, lighting, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) coordination.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work well with designers, project managers, and site teams.
  
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with an emphasis on accuracy and precision in drawings.
  
• Time Management: Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changes in project scope.
