Audit & Assurance Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning and executing audit procedures under the guidance of the Senior incharge.
• Perform tests of controls, substantive tests, and analytical procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Gather and analyse data, prepare audit documentation in accordance with auditing standards, and communicate audit findings to the Senior Auditor.
• Communicate with clients and respond to their queries in a professional and timely manner.
• Preparing financial statements and other related deliverables.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all audit objectives are met within the allocated time and budget.
• Keep up to date with changes in accounting and auditing standards.
• Provide support in other audit-related activities as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• ACCA / CA Finalist
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience or have completed articles in audit firm or audit consultancy
• Thorough understanding of auditing standards e.g. IFRS
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Familiarity with audit software and tools will be added advantage.
