Job Description

What to expect:


We are looking for a Tax Associate to join our dynamic regional tax team. This role is pivotal in assisting Talabat in meeting its tax goals, by supporting the tax team in tax compliances, tax return submissions and various regional tax analysis. 


What’s on the menu? (Duties & Responsibilities)


  • Support the tax team in the preparation, review and filing the tax returns of talabat group.


  • Support the tax team in reviewing tax relevant documentation and records to ensure they are compliant with the relevant tax legislations.


  • Support the tax team in conducting different tax analysis to ensure the talabat group is compliant with any new tax legislations. 



Qualifications

What are we looking for: (Core Qualifications & Experience)


  • Must hold a UAE passport and family book


  • A finance, tax, accounting or business degree is preferred


  • Familiarity with basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office


  • Strong organizational and time management skills


  • Good verbal and written communication skills


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


  • Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks


  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude


  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as needed


  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
