Responsibilities:
- Lead the conversion of SWIFT MT messages to MX messages in the payments domain.
- Analyze and interpret SWIFT MT message formats and structures.
- Develop and implement conversion strategies and processes to ensure accurate and efficient message transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and compliance, to ensure seamless integration and compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct testing and validation of converted messages to ensure accuracy and compliance with SWIFT standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues related to message conversion.
- Stay updated with the latest SWIFT standards and industry best practices. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in converting SWIFT MT messages to MX messages in the payments area.
- Strong understanding of SWIFT messaging standards, including MT and MX formats.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools used for message conversion (e.g., XML, XSLT, Java, etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX message structures, including specific message types (e.g., MT103, MT202, MX pain.001, pacs.008).
- Experience with message mapping and transformation tools (e.g., Altova MapForce, IBM Integration Bus).
- Familiarity with financial messaging protocols and standards (e.g., ISO 20022).
- Hands-on experience with middleware and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, TIBCO).
- Proficiency in database management and SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Understanding of security protocols and encryption methods used in financial messaging.
- Experience with API integration and web services (e.g., REST, SOAP).
- Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to write and maintain technical documentation for conversion processes and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with payment systems and financial messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the payments industry.
- Certification in SWIFT messaging standards or related areas.
