Job Summary
The incumbent will be responsible for executing group strategy with regard to Procurement of Packaging materials, Global contracting, Supply risk management and Standardization of procurement processes and systems. Person would be working across IFFCO universe to identify opportunities for optimization of cost/specifications, identification & mitigation of key supply risk factors, supplier performance improvement etc.
Person will be part of Corporate Procurement team and will guide/support business unit purchase managers across IFFCO universe and ensure process standardization. She/He will get involve in negotiation of contract with global suppliers of Polymer resins, Rigid plastics, Flexible packaging, Labels, Cartons, Glass bottle, Tin cans etc.
Roles & Responsibilities

- To lead a spend of USD 200 million across global sourcing & procurement of Packaging Materials.
- Organize and structure a world-class winning packaging procurement team that drives efficiency and change. Train and develop the team on new technologies and trends to maximize performance.
- Focus on the current technology and enhancement of the procurement management platforms in the organization, in order to ensure that all systems and tools are working as per expectations.
- Frame Procurement strategies to deliver Supply Chain objectives in terms of cost control, process improvements, supplier development, working capital management and financial benefits for the company.
- Drive Procurement optimization and efficiencies, including a review of existing practices. Review Procurement processes and drive improvement
- Monitor Commodity price trends and price forecasting. Review Commodity hedging plan and apply buying strategies to provide business a competitive edge.
- Develop Supply risk mitigation process and drive Supplier Rationalization across group.
- Manage key supplier relationships in line with business strategies and maintain a credible reputation for the organization. Improve supplier performance by putting correct processes.

8-10 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in FMCG
Qualification

- Graduate/Engineer with degree from a reputed Packaging Institute
- Preferably MBA / CIPS
- Proficient English speaker
