Assistant Relationship Manager, Liabilities – Business Banking

The Assistant Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Business Liability relationships by meeting or exceeding sales and service targets. This role involves identifying and acquiring new business customers, ensuring compliance with bank policies, and delivering exceptional service to clients. The Assistant Relationship Manager will work closely with other units to maximize cross-sell opportunities and contribute to the overall growth and success of the Business Banking division.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of Business Liability relationships by meeting or exceeding budgeted sales and service targets within acceptable risk standards.
• Effectively cross-sell the entire range of Business banking and other products to business customers.
• Identify, market, and book new liability/transaction business accounts, ensuring robust portfolio growth.
• Work closely with other units to maximize cross-sell opportunities.
• Meet financial targets and ensure clients conform to the Bank’s compliance criteria.
• Adhere to processes and controls as per the Bank’s guidelines.
• Handle service requirements of all clients to ensure client expectations are met through coordination with respective service/back office teams.
• Ensure effective coordination with peers and support staff.
• Provide and translate market feedback into product development and formulate innovative customer offerings

What You Should Have

• Bachelor's degree in communication or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in banking in Dubai, with a focus on Relationship Management/Coverage, preferably in the Wholesale/Corporate banking space.
• Strong selling skills and knowledge of local legal systems as applicable to banking.
• Awareness of Anti-Money Laundering guidelines and Central Bank regulations.
• Good leadership, people management, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound understanding of the business environment, customer needs, and competitive environment.
• Good presentation skills, negotiating and networking skills with internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of RAKBANK retail products and HNWI Relationship Management skills.
• Ability to make appropriate pricing decisions in Relationship Management.
