The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. A little taste of your day-to-day

Effectively manage in-room dining by ensuring the following:

• Oversee the Implementation of standards as detailed in the departmental standards and procedures manual.
• Adhere to opening and closing procedures.
• Adhere to bill paying procedures. 
• Conduct effective shift briefings ensuring all staff are aware of VIPs, special occasions, daily specials; emphasis on upselling certain products; etc.
• Personally meet and farewell a maximum of restaurant guests.
• Encourage and motivate staff to provide optimum service during all shifts.
• Share recommendations and guest comments to Chef and Food and Beverage Manager to reflect current customer profile.
• Create positive publicity opportunities.
• Manage customer database and utilise effectively.
• Performance Management.
• Up-sell property facilities.
• Actively pursue cost saving measures.
• Recycle wherever possible.
• Stock control.
• Health and Safety & HACCP.
   

What we need from you

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Warm and welcoming personality.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Open-minded and eager to learn.
• Passion for food and a curiosity for new experiences.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or 2 years in a supervisory position within an all-day dining restaurant in a luxury hotel chain.
