  1. Role & Responsibilities
  • As a Senior Consultant / Assistant Manager within the Financial Risk Management (“FRM”) Team your role involves developing and implementing risk solutions for financial and non-financial institutions clients with a focus on Operational Risk.
  1. Project and Team Related 
  • Execute multiple FRM projects and ensure all engagements are planned and delivered within budget and on time
  • Manage junior team members as well as client stakeholders and be responsible for delivering high quality results and generating effective and impactful solutions. 
  1. The Individual
  • Has thorough understanding of Operational Risk and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
  • Demonstrates understanding of business processes, regulatory requirements, internal controls risk management and related standards.
  • Has a working knowledge of Operational risk management tools such as Incident Management Reports, Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)
  • Understanding of risk management related to banks, exchange companies and other financial and non-financial services company.
  • Knowledge of the structure and roles within the risk function at a bank or any other financial services institution including execution and oversight processes, risk assessment, reporting, controls and testing
  • Has knowledge of CBUAE guidelines and Basel requirements for Operational Risk 
  • Is Familiar with BCBS Principles on Operational risk.
  • Has previously worked on implementation of regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Good Communication skills and ability to develop interpersonal relationships.
  • Broad Understanding Risk Management framework assessments 
  • High competence in developing presentations required (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Previous Banking experience a plus 
  • Willingness to travel anywhere within UAE or the GCC region. 
  • Demonstrate integrity, values, principles, and work ethic and lead by example.
  1. Qualifications
  • Bachelors / master’s degree in risk management/ Finance/Business with 4-6 years of experience in Operational Risk Management or Enterprise Risk Management functions in Banks or Risk Consulting
  • Professional certifications like FRM or CFA recommended but not mandatory.
