Black & Grey HR is recruiting on behalf of a leading insurance company in Dubai, UAE. Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to lead their retail motor underwriting team, driving operational efficiency and ensuring adherence to industry standards.


- Lead and manage the motor retail underwriting team, ensuring they are well-trained and capable of meeting performance objectives effectively.
- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and policies for motor insurance products, aligning them with company standards and market demands.
- Work closely with the actuarial team to ensure motor insurance products are accurately priced and competitive in the market.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory updates to ensure motor insurance offerings remain compliant and competitive.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, sales teams, and clients, to support business growth.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends.

Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in motor insurance underwriting, with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Familiarity with the UAE insurance regulatory environment is advanta​geous.
