What We’re Looking For


  • The position requires sound knowledge of common law and UAE civil law to ensure the legal health of the group’s major holding companies.
  • At least 7+ years of experience in corporate law, with expertise in contract management, trademark law, and compliance.
  • Exposure to a range and depth and work from international law firms and corporates.
  • A skill set of the minimum combination of corporate and/or real estate, finance, and/or banking.
  • A strong and confident personality who can deal with pressure and lead teams and projects.
  • A winning attitude and ongoing enthusiasm for all duties requested by management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to juggle between a range of tasks and work extra hours to meet deadlines
  • Fluent in Arabic and English is mandatory
  • FIVE-Styled’ Visionary thinking by finding creative solutions, while taking Ownership for all duties and tasks assigned.
  • Computer literacy, with a mastery of Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • A Team Player and 'People-Oriented' leader, passionate about Motivating and Training other members of the Team

Key Responsibilities1.Case Oversight:Oversee all legal cases, both local and international, ensuring effective management and resolution.


2.Portal Management:Take full responsibility for the DIFC Portal and manage all Trademark (TM) matters using the TM portal.
3.Trademark Management:Manage TM issuance, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
4.Compliance and Confirmations:Handle quarterly legal confirmations to ensure regulatory compliance.
5.Stock Exchange Relations:Draft, obtain approval, and submit press releases for Nasdaq Dubai and London Stock Exchange through the portal.
6.Board Meetings Documentation:
Draft all pre and post board meeting documentation, including Minutes of Meeting and board resolutions.
7.Contract/Agreement Preparation, Review, and Amendment:Review and amend contracts for hotels and special circumstances, SPA, lease, retail space, consultancy, entertainment, architectural, MEP, structural contracts, and novation agreements.
8.External Counsel Coordination:Coordinate with external counsel on legal procedures, reviewing court documents and managing updates.
9.Financial Matters:Prepare demand letters and initiate debt collection cases for payments due from hotel guests.
10.Engagement Letter Review:Review and negotiate Engagement Letters of external consultants/counsels.
11.Guest Communication:Prepare email responses and letters for guest disputes and complaints related to hotel charges and services.
12.Contract Termination:Prepare termination notices for various contracts including employment, retail spaces, service providers, and consultants.
13.Due Diligence:Coordinate with external counsel on due diligence exercises.Provide legal advice on UAE labor law provisions and review legal documents.Prepare correspondence related to real estate and TM issues, invoices, reinstatements, and agreements.Review and prepare legal disclaimers, terms, and conditions for various platforms and activities.
