School Vision/mission: An assistant head of Primary is required for this reputable private school in Abu Dhabi. The school caters for students from KG to Grade 12, Facilities are plentiful and the spacious campus is split into KG, Primary and High school boys and girls. There are 2725 students on roll, with the majority of Arabic origin (95% are Emirati). Students are encouraged to become critical thinkers through a curriculum which has been designed to develop their skills and the awareness required to become responsible and productive citizens of their own society and the world community.
Role:
This role requires an individual who uses a collaborative approach to planning and grade level organisation that embraces best practice pedagogy, content and program standard implementation. This person provides the Subject teachers support, coaching in curriculum instruction and day to day grade organisation, including student guidance and support. In addition, the successful individual will oversee the teaching and learning, vertical & horizontal articulations and data teams. This is a non teaching role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be male in line with UAE laws.
A Bachelor's Degree in the Teaching subject supported by a relevant teaching certificate, a Copy of the degree, and Transcripts must be provided upon application. Previous ESL and US curriculum experience is desirable but not essential. Educators wishing to apply should demonstrate outstanding communication skills, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to deliver motivating and creative classroom environments.
