Assistant Fire Instructor

The Assistant Fire Instructor will support the fire training programs and personally conducts some of the training while assists Fire Instructor in carrying out the required fire, emergency response trainings.
Supports delivery of both theoretical (classroom) and field-based training in a safe environment
Demonstrating good class control and safety supervision
Prepares and follows a creative lesson plan in conjunction with the instructor for each class
Ensures Fire ground and Simulators are prepared operated and maintained in a safe, effective and efficient manner
Support Fire Training Instructors in carrying out their duties and ensures the safety of training attendees through preparation and maintenance of fire training facilities and equipment
Carryout daily inspections and maintenance of Fire Training equipment
Identify equipment, materials and resources required Maintain Fire Training Centre records and prepare reports
Ensure ENOC HSE rules, regulations, policies and procedures are enforced Motivate, monitor and maintain discipline of course attendees
Maintains Training Records, including records of attendance, reports, Inspections, Certification and filing course rosters.
Deliver basic fire training courses.
Guide and supervise the technician in the maintaining the maintenance of all firefighting
Professional and Vocational qualifications or equivalent
Certified in firefighting training or a diploma as a fire trainer or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience
Computer literacy and good knowledge in MS Officer. Efficient administration skills
Very good communication and Interpersonal skills
