Application/System Sales Engineer I (BMS) – UAE Nationals Only
Key responsibilities
· Sales Support: Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies for BMS products and solutions, working closely with the sales team to identify and pursue new opportunities.
· Technical Consultation: Provide technical expertise and support to clients during the sales process, ensuring appropriate application of BMS products to meet customer requirements
· Design Solutions: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to design customized BMS solutions, preparing proposals, cost estimates, and technical documentation.
· Product Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and workshops, effectively communicating the benefits and features of building management systems to prospective clients.
· Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing timely and informative follow-up.
· Market Research: Gather intelligence on market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences to support strategic decision-making.
· Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to customers, ensuring they are knowledgeable about system operations and product features.
· Data Analysis: Assist clients with data analysis, energy management strategies, and performance metrics to optimize building operations.
Work Environment:
· Primarily office-based with frequent visits to customer sites for consultations, Field Supports and demonstrations.
· Some travel may be required to attend trade shows, conferences, or client meetings.
Key skills and qualifications
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
· Experience: Experience through internship, in sales engineering, technical support, or a related field, preferably working with Fire systems or similar technologies would be an added advantage.
· Technical Skills: Familiarity with BMS technologies, including HVAC, lighting control, and security systems is preferred.
· Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
· Problem-Solving: Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
