An Application Development Lead is responsible for guiding and participating in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications. This dual role involves both hands-on coding and the management of a team of full stack developers to ensure that project goals are met on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement software applications that align with the strategic direction of management.
Lead and mentor a team of full stack developers in the creation of high-quality software solutions.
Strong Knowledge on with modern operating environments and DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Provide technical leadership in all aspects of the development process, including front-end, back-end, and database development.
Ensure code integrity standards and maintainability by conducting code reviews and promoting best practices within the team.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective delivery of software projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing software.
Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
Refine systems according to users feedback gathered by BA and SD.
Manage timelines and adjust resources as necessary to meet business priorities and deadlines.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate into the software development practices.
