Apply now for the position of AP Accountant (Temporary contract - 1 Year Contract Extendable to 2 years) to join our teambased in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.


Your role:


  • Support invoice processing, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records, and provide other support necessary to pay the obligations of the organization as per procurement policy.
  • Ensure all vendor information is complete and appropriate before payment execution and monitor all outgoing payments. Ensure payments are released as per due date, unless specified by the purchaser to retain/withhold the payment due to valid business reasons.
  • Initiating exceptional 3rd party, inter company (ICC) & cheque payments and recording of such transactions and resolving payment disputes.
  • First point of contact for accounting transactional tasks such as Cash and Bank, Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets and General Ledger.
  • Monitoring and maintaining the company deposit and bank interim accounts accurately.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries, approve business JV’s and maintain accruals in the system.
  • Support and co-ordinate in providing samples for E&Y Audit requirements.
  • Posting and reconciliation of cash transactions, accounts & GL according to cash policy. Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation.
  • Supporting TRE for maintaining users & signatories and creation of profile access for any changes in the organization’s management.
  • Ability to follow Treasury guidelines for maintenance of bank accounts and funding of accounts.
  • Monitoring of bank account balances.
  • Initiating cash sweeping transactions.

Your qualifications and experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3-5 years of operational experience.
  • Established knowledge and experience for the respective area of operation.
  • Dedicated experience with SAP and Financial Systems, processes, advanced MS excel analysis.
