Jumeirah Creekside is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located 2km from Dubai International Airport in the heart of old Dubai. Set in landscaped grounds overlooking Dubai Creek, the hotel offers 292 rooms and suites, 21 meeting rooms, four restaurants, an award-winning spa and access to sports and leisure complex, The Aviation Club. About the Job:


To provide both Guest and Colleagues with the best possible IT support services within limits of established Jumeirah policies and procedures. 


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Works within the ITIL process framework ensuring all activities are accurately logged in Enterprise Service management System.
  • Provides first level IT support to colleagues and guests within agreed SLAs.
  • Facilitate the interaction between end users and higher-level support
  • Monitor system and network performance and organize maintenance activities 
  • Perform daily, monthly, and yearly backup of the systems.
  • Process renewal of the annual maintenance contracts
  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • Possibly training junior staff
  • Maintain all users access request and authorizations (Windows, E-mail, Opera, Micros, etc.)
  • Respond to all users request and provide them with adequate support
  • Must know the Network fundamentals, general network setup and device configuration.
  • knowledge on Active Directory, Management, and Implementations.
  • Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software license. 

About you:


Essential


  • College Degree or a Diploma in Information Technology, or equivalent from an accredited College.

Desirable


  • Certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, etc.

Experience


A minimum of two (2) years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT support roles. 



Skills


  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations’ skills.
  • Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Experience with these Hospitality related applications and or systems (PMS, POS, Key card, PBX, Voice mail, IPTV, etc).
