Job Summary: 


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of both US and UAE accounting standards and best practices, proficiency using Xero for bookkeeping, and a strong understanding of accrual accounting. This role involves managing finances and cash flow, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records using Xero, including manual journal entries, reconciliation of accounts, and ensuring compliance with both US and UAE accounting standards.


Financial Management: Oversee the company’s financial operations, manage cash flow, and ensure the financial health and stability of the organization.


Accounts Payable and Receivable: Supervise the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely billing and collections.


Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to the executive team.


Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support the company’s strategic objectives.


Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations, and coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.


Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Stakeholder Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including banks, vendors, and clients, to manage financial relationships and transactions.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.


3 - 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with expertise in both US and UAE accounting standards.


Proficiency in Xero and strong knowledge of accrual accounting.


Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.


Strong organizational and time-management skills.


Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


Experience in managing a high volume of transactions.



Compensation:
  • Per hour rate on experience and qualifications.
