The Accounting Assistant is expected to manage
expense reports and reimbursements, enter financial transactions into IFZA’s
internal databases, and reconciling invoices. The role is essential in ensuring
the Accounting procedures run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in
all transactions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent attention to
detail, analytical thinking, and precision.
Main responsibilities:
Reconciling invoices, statement of accounts, and
identifying discrepancies Communicating with Partners in a timely manner Creating and updating expense reports Processing reimbursement forms Preparing bank deposits Entering financial transactions into internal
databases Checking spreadsheets for accuracy Maintaining digital and physical financial records Issuing invoices to customers and external
partners, as needed Participating in quarterly and annual audits Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
Full English proficiency is required
Additional spoken languages are a plus
Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS
Office
Proficient in accounting software
Strong time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping
procedures
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential
information
Experience working in multicultural organizations
Tertiary education in Accounting, Finance, or
relevant subjects
Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus
Proven experience as an Accounting Assistant or similar
