Accountant (Construction)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Construction Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, specifically within the construction industry, and possess a valid driving license. This role requires someone who can manage cash on construction sites, handle various financial tasks, and assist with on-site responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily cash handling on construction sites.
• Process and record financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support the finance team with financial reporting specific to construction projects.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for projects.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports for construction activities.
• Conduct site visits to manage financial tasks and assist with on-site requirements.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support project needs.
