Job DescriptionJob Title: Accountant with Medical Centre ExperienceLocation: Al Hiyer,Al Ain, UAERecruitment Company: REAP HR & RECRUITMENT SERVICESJob Type: Full-TimeStart Date: January 2025Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced Accountant with a background in working within a medical center environment for one of our prestigious medical center in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of accounting processes, telemedicine experience, as well as expertise in insurance claim follow-ups (specifically with Daman and other insurance companies). Additionally, the role requires experience in HR and payroll management, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with relevant laws, and effective administration of employee benefits.Key Responsibilities:Accounting and Financial Management:Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.Reconcile financial discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate posting of all transactions.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure financial health and strategic planning.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures, as well as relevant tax laws and regulations.Insurance Claim Processing and Follow-Up (Daman & Other Insurance Companies):Coordinate and manage insurance claims processing, ensuring that all medical services are properly documented for insurance purposes.Follow up with Daman and other insurance providers to resolve any billing discrepancies, outstanding payments, or claim rejections.Ensure the accurate submission of claims and required documentation in line with the guidelines set by insurance providers.Communicate with insurance companies to ensure that payments are processed in a timely manner.Resolve any disputes or issues with insurance claims, ensuring appropriate action is taken and payments are collected.Telemedicine Billing & Administration:Oversee the financial aspects of telemedicine services, including patient billing, insurance claim processing, and payment collection.Ensure accurate invoicing and billing for telemedicine consultations in line with both medical centre policies and insurance company requirements.Coordinate with telemedicine service providers to ensure proper billing practices are followed.Monitor and report on telemedicine service utilization and related revenue streams.HR & Payroll Administration:Administer payroll processing for medical centre staff, ensuring timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages.Maintain payroll records, including deductions, overtime, bonuses, and tax calculations.Ensure that HR records are accurate and up-to-date, including leave balances, employee contracts, and other personnel documents.Handle end-of-service benefits, vacation accruals, and other employee entitlements in accordance with UAE labor laws.Assist in the recruitment process, onboarding, and maintaining personnel files for all employees.Administer employee benefits such as medical insurance, and ensure that benefits are provided as per company policy and legal requirements.Manage employee time and attendance records to ensure accurate payroll processing.Tax and Compliance Management:Ensure compliance with local regulations and tax laws, including VAT and other relevant taxes.Work with external auditors to ensure proper tax filing and annual audit processes.Prepare necessary reports and documentation required for tax filing and regulatory compliance.Financial Reporting and Analysis:Prepare detailed financial reports and provide insights into financial performance and trends.Assist senior management with financial planning, forecasting, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.Maintain and update financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and security.Support internal audits and ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with other departments, including HR, operations, and medical billing, to ensure smooth financial operations.Provide guidance and support to the management team in understanding financial performance and key metrics.Liaise with external auditors, insurance providers, and government bodies for financial and compliance-related matters.Ensure clear and open communication with team members regarding accounting, payroll, and insurance-related processes.RequirementsQualifications:Education:A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Additional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or similar is a plus.Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a medical center or healthcare environment.Hands-on experience with insurance claims management (Daman and other insurers), billing processes, and telemedicine services.Proven experience in HR and payroll management, particularly in processing employee salaries, benefits, and compliance with UAE labor laws.Experience with financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, etc.).Skills:Strong knowledge of medical billing and insurance claim processes.Proficiency in telemedicine billing systems (if applicable).In-depth knowledge of HR practices including payroll processing, employee benefits, and compliance with labor laws.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, insurance providers, and internal teams.High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills, especially in financial or billing discrepancies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP).BenefitsSalary: AED4000 to
