Accountant

Our client specialized in metering, processing, and engineering solutions for the oil and gas sector in the Middle East and Africa. The company designs, manufactures, and supplies skid-mounted equipment, covering all project stages from engineering to commissioning. The company ensures high-quality, reliable delivery and comprehensive after-sales support. Continuously evolving, it enhances its processes to meet client and industry standards.

• Prepare and maintain financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections on weekly, quarterly, monthly basis
  
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
  
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Odoo, QuickBooks, SAP, 1C, etc)
  
• Submission of VAT reports to tax authorities
  
• Monitor and analyse financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
  
• Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors
  
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders
  
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement financial strategies
  
• Keep up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and legislation
  
• Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
  
• Payment’s execution
  
• Preparing of sale invoices
  
• Handle any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management team.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance
  
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  
• Familiarity with local tax laws and regulations
  
• Proficiencent in accounting software and MS Office applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
