Job Description
As an Account Manager, you will be the key driver of client relationships, strategizing and elevating accounts to help clients achieve their goals and maximize value. Your insights will guide our clients, helping them navigate challenges and seize new opportunities.
In this fast-paced role, you will play a vital part in delivering a unique, high-quality launch event while building lasting relationships and achieving results.
Who are you?
We are looking for a professional enthusiastic about sales, collaboration, and launching unique events in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven sales or account management background with a successful track record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and commercial awareness
- Client-focused, target-driven, and able to work creatively outside traditional sales processes
- Awareness of exhibition production, event cycles, and market trends
Your Responsibilities
- Client Partnership: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as their trusted advisor and advocate within our organization.
- Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for account expansion and upselling, developing tailored strategies to drive growth and enhance client satisfaction.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—such as marketing, operations, and customer success — to deliver seamless service and innovative solutions that meet client needs.
- Performance Insights: Analyse account performance metrics and market trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations that foster client success.
- Problem Solving: Proactively address client challenges based on market insights, offering solutions and support to ensure their objectives are met and exceeded.
- Management & Reporting: Ensure timely reporting, revenue collection and data capture in CRM.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Level:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
Background Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Essential
- Significant and successful experience in an exhibition / sponsorship sales role
- Highly target driven
- Creative mindset and able to work outside of traditional space and sponsorship sales processes
- Computer literate and proficient in the use of commonly used business software
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Commercial awareness
- Attention to detail
- Numerate
Desirable
- Awareness of exhibition production
- Experience of growing and developing new markets and products
- Relevant industry knowledge
- Understating of event cycles
- Spoken Arabic
