The CAD Technician & 3D Visualizer is responsible for creating 2D and 3D computer-aided design drawings and models to support the design and development of various products and projects.
Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for event concept, setup and layout
Collaborate effectively with the project creative lead, production supervisor, event manager and setup supervisor.
Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, including elevations, sections, and construction details for different event design.
Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of design revisions and project progress.
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant UAE building codes, regulations and authority requirements .
Develop high-quality 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts to different stakeholders.
Review and approve shop drawings from subcontractors to ensure compliance with design specifications.
Conduct site visits as required to verify dimensions, conditions, and coordinate with contractors.
Assist in material selection based on design requirements and project budget.
Prepare accurate quantity take-offs required for the project.
Requirements
Full English proficiency is required
Additional spoken languages are a plus
Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS
Office
Proficiency with AutoCAD, 3d Max, Vray, Lumion other
CAD software, Sketchup, and Revit
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Good verbal and written communication skills
