15-Ton Truck Driver [ Al Ain]

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 15-Ton Truck Driver for our client in the transportation and logistics industry based in Al Ain. As a 15-Ton Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the condition of the assigned truck. This role requires an individual with excellent driving skills, a strong focus on safety, and a proactive attitude toward vehicle maintenance and customer service.

• Transport Goods: Safely operate a 15-ton truck to deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  
• Route Planning: Plan and follow efficient delivery routes, using GPS or local road knowledge to meet deadlines and minimize delays.
  
• Loading & Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of goods as needed, ensuring items are securely loaded to prevent any damage during transit.
  
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular checks on the truck, including fuel, oil, tires, and other essentials. Report any maintenance needs promptly and ensure the truck is in excellent working condition.
  
• Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and all other relevant documentation related to goods transportation.
  
• Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers, clients, and colleagues to ensure smooth deliveries and high satisfaction levels.
  
• Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe environment for yourself, the truck, and others on the road.
  
• Compliance: Ensure all deliveries comply with industry regulations, including proper handling of goods, weight limits, and licensing requirements.
  
• Incident Reporting: Promptly report any accidents, delays, or mechanical issues to your supervisor.
  
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the logistics team to ensure efficient deliveries and meet operational goals.
  

• Valid Driver’s License: A current and valid UAE Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, specifically operating a 15-ton truck or similar vehicle.
  
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including loading and unloading goods that may involve heavy lifting and working in varying weather conditions.
  
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members professionally.
  
• Time Management: Strong organizational skills to ensure timely deliveries and the ability to plan routes effectively.
  
• Attention to Detail: Careful attention to vehicle maintenance and proper handling of goods during transport.
  
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to road safety, company policies, and industry regulations.
  

• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a 15-ton truck.
  
• Experience in the logistics, transportation, or delivery industry.
  
• Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning software.
  
• Ability to handle specific types of cargo, such as fragile or perishable items.
  
• Knowledge of basic truck maintenance (e.g., checking tire pressure, oil levels).
  

• Full-time position, with working hours subject to delivery needs.
  
• Occasional weekend or holiday work may be required.
  
• Extended hours on the road and overnight stays may be necessary depending on the delivery schedule.
