Job Summary:
The Integration Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing seamless data workflows between multiple systems. This role ensures compatibility, efficient communication, and data synchronization across platforms while solving integration challenges and delivering scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Pipeline Development: Develop and manage robust integration pipelines between key systems such as Oracle, ESRI ArcGIS, Web Office, Meridium APM, and FME. Ensure seamless data flow, accuracy, and synchronization between platforms. Middleware and API Design: Design, develop, and implement middleware and APIs to enable data interoperability and system connectivity. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration solutions. Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor integration workflows to ensure data consistency, performance, and real-time updates. Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues promptly. Scalable Solutions Development: Address integration challenges by analyzing system requirements and proposing scalable and efficient solutions. Optimize workflows to improve system performance and reduce latency. Documentation and Training: Document integration processes, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures to ensure transparency and maintainability. Provide training to maintenance and support teams for ongoing monitoring and issue resolution. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, software developers, and business units, to ensure integrations align with organizational goals. Assist in testing and validating integration solutions to guarantee smooth implementation.
Role Requirement and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in system integrations and middleware/API development. Proven expertise in integrating systems such as Oracle, ESRI ArcGIS, WebOffice, Meridium APM, and FME. Proficiency in designing APIs (REST/SOAP) and middleware solutions for data synchronization. Strong knowledge of data formats (e.g., XML, JSON) and integration tools/platforms. Experience with database technologies, data mapping, and ETL processes. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address complex integration issues. Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration abilities.
