Job Summary:
The Oracle Database Consultant is responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle 12C databases to support the organization’s digital solutions. This role focuses on creating efficient database schemas, optimizing spatial data performance, and ensuring the integrity and security of the database environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement database schemas and spatial tables (CL tables) using SDO geometry. Optimize database queries and configurations for high performance and scalability. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with enterprise standards and regulations. Collaborate with developers and technical teams to enable seamless integration with other systems and applications. Develop, document, and maintain database procedures, workflows, and best practices.
Role Requirements and Qualifications:
At least 6 years of experience in implementing Enterprise Geodatabases. Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional). Strong expertise in Oracle 12C, including spatial data management. Proficiency in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of SDO geometry and spatial database concepts.
